ChatGPT Automation is a Chrome extension built by PixelForgeHub (Yogesh Nichal). This policy explains how the extension handles your data.

Data Collection

This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. All prompts you enter and images you generate stay entirely within your browser and on the ChatGPT website. Nothing is sent to any external server.

Permissions Explained

  • activeTab: Allows the extension to interact with the ChatGPT page when you activate it.
  • storage: Saves your prompt queue and extension settings locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.
  • scripting: Required to inject automation scripts into the active ChatGPT tab for reliable content script reconnection after Chrome suspends the service worker.
  • downloads: Used to automatically save generated DALL-E images to your computer with organized folder naming.
  • sidePanel: Displays the automation control panel alongside ChatGPT for a seamless workflow.
  • tabs: Used to verify you are on chatgpt.com before enabling automation, and to open help/pricing pages in new tabs.

Host Permission

chatgpt.com: The extension only operates on chatgpt.com. This permission is required to automate prompt execution, image upload, and DALL-E image downloads on ChatGPT. No other websites are accessed.

Third-Party Services

This extension operates on ChatGPT (chatgpt.com). Your use of ChatGPT is governed by OpenAI's own terms and privacy policy. This extension does not modify, intercept, or store any data from OpenAI's service beyond what is visible in your browser.
